In this activity, students work individually to journal about medicinal uses for drugs, interpreting medical orders, avoiding medication errors, working with children, and safety precautions for administering parenteral medication. A class discussion on these topics can follow.
Unit: Culture and Religious Research
Description
In this project, students work individually to research a culture or religion that is different from their own, focusing on healthcare and medicine beliefs. Then students present their research to the class.
Unit: Current Event
Description
Students will review articles for information related to a topic in the module. Once an article is found, students complete a Current Event form.
