The Growing Our Future podcast, created by the Texas FFA Foundation, is now available on the iCEV platform. Designed to expose students to a wide variety of industries and subject matter experts, the podcast is available to Texas agriculture science curriculum subscribers.
As a leading producer of agriculture science curriculum and instructional materials, iCEV is excited to partner with the Texas FFA Foundation to now host the Growing Our Future podcast on its platform in a curriculum format. Each lesson found within the podcast subject area playlist contains a podcast episode video, lesson plan as well as activities and assignments.
“For today’s agriculture science teachers, connecting students with industry leaders and experts can be a difficult challenge,” said Megan O’Quinn, Vice President of Curriculum and Instruction at iCEV. “By providing the episodes as individual lessons teachers are equipped with instructional materials to expose students to valuable industry knowledge, career and personal development opportunities.”
iCEV has been a corporate sponsor of the Texas FFA for over 20 years in which both organizations work to educate, serve and inspire students and agriculture educators.

Kassie Montford, Development and Planning Coordinator at the Texas FFA Foundation led the efforts to convert the podcast episodes into a lesson format and said, “The lessons are TEKS aligned and designed to be flexible to offer teachers a complete format for how to integrate the podcast into student’s learning in a way that adds value to what educators are already teaching.”
