WDE Industry-Recognized Certifications
The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) Industry-Recognized Credential List helps CTE educators identify specific credentials valued by Wyoming employers. Industry-recognized credentials must meet the following criteria:
- Valued and Preferred by Employers
- Portable
- Stackable
- Lead to Higher Wages, Career Advancement and/or Increased Job Security
Industry certifications are one of the required performance measures of the Wyoming Perkins V State Plan for the federal Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act.
